Some rehabilitation centres use devices that support body weight and help patients repeat walking steps as part of a treatment programme supervised by specialists.

Who May Benefit?

Robot-assisted gait training may be considered for some people with walking difficulties following neurological injuries. Suitability depends on medical and functional assessment.

What Happens During a Session?

The rehabilitation team adjusts the assistance, speed and level of support to the patient’s condition, monitoring comfort and safety throughout training.

Does the Device Replace Physiotherapy?

No. These devices are supporting tools within a broader rehabilitation plan. They do not guarantee recovery of walking ability or replace assessment by the medical team.

Health Back’s Role
